Bridge Investment Group

Across the country, Bridge Investment Group is bringing EV charging to residents in 17 states. 3V provides the capital, installation, and ongoing management, starting with 150+ sites.

How Bridge Investment Group Is Scaling EV Charging Across 60,000+ Apartment Homes at Zero Cost

Bridge Investment Group, an affiliate of Apollo (NYSE: APO) and a leading alternative investment manager with roughly $50 billion in assets under management, oversees one of the largest multifamily portfolios in the country. Through Bridge Property Management, it manages more than 60,000 apartment units nationwide.

Like many multifamily owners, Bridge sees EV charging as more than a sustainability checkbox. It supports sustainability goals, adds value to its properties, and meets what current and prospective residents increasingly expect. To deliver it nationally, Bridge is partnering with 3V Infrastructure.

The Challenge: Charging That Couldn’t Scale

Bridge installed Level 2 chargers at a handful of properties before engaging 3V, and quickly ran into a familiar wall: what works at a few sites doesn’t automatically work across a portfolio spanning dozens of states. Each property has its own electrical capacity, resident demand, and construction requirements, and managing that site by site wasn’t realistic in-house.

The Solution: A No-Cost, Full-Service Model

3V fully funds, owns, and operates EV charging infrastructure across Bridge’s multifamily portfolio, with engineering, procurement, and construction support from SitelogIQ. The partnership spans 17 states and gives Bridge a single, scalable way to deploy charging nationwide with no up-front or ongoing cost to the properties. It also removes the burden of managing installers, hardware, and maintenance property by property, so Bridge can offer the amenity at scale without taking on the cost or complexity.

Scale and Momentum

3V’s agreement with Bridge starts with 150+ sites. Dozens of sites are already operational, with chargers live and serving residents today, and more than 100 additional sites are planned through 2028 and beyond. Since signing, Bridge has continued to add sites to the partnership.

“Bridge is committed to excellence alongside sustainability, ensuring that our properties not only perform but also contribute positively to the communities we serve,” said Matt DeGraw, Chief Executive Officer at Bridge Property Management. “3V’s unique model aligns perfectly with our vision, allowing us to deploy EV charging infrastructure at scale at no cost to us while enhancing our properties. This partnership represents a win-win for our residents, and our properties over the long-term.”

What’s Next

As Bridge continues to acquire properties that fit 3V’s model, those sites are added to the partnership. Rather than building in-house EV charging expertise, Bridge relies on 3V to navigate the fast-changing Level 2 charging landscape and recommend the right solution property by property. That frees Bridge to focus on its core business while 3V manages the infrastructure end to end.
