Charlie is Director of Legal at 3V Infrastructure where he leverages a background in transactional law to provide thoughtful, business-minded solutions to novel problems in a nascent industry.

Prior to joining 3V, Charlie worked at Kirkland & Ellis, where his practice focused on private equity mergers and acquisitions, with industry experience spanning infrastructure, real estate, SaaS, and consumer businesses. After his time at Kirkland, Charlie joined Gunderson Dettmer, where he served as counsel to founders and venture capital investors. In college, Charlie worked for the Chicago Transit Authority where he cultivated a passion for transportation infrastructure.

Charlie holds a B.A. from the University of Chicago where he was captain of the varsity basketball team. He also holds a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law and an M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Additionally, Charlie studied at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, receiving a Diplôme de Cuisine. In his free time, Charlie enjoys surfing, skiing, collecting records, and throwing elaborate dinner parties.
